Account Manager at OGOship

As an Account Manager, your role is extremely important as you are our first contact to new and potentially new customers.  This role exists to close and build relationships with new customers, helping them solve their problems and retain them in the company. This includes communicating to internal and external stakeholders. 

To be successful in this role means that you are able to juggle problem-solving, consulting, coordination, and communication in your daily work. You will need to be organized with your work and be able to keep a cool head in a fast-paced environment. Although daily work comes in many shapes, the results are easily measured by numbers and growth.  A must for this position is excellent communication, attention to detail, and most importantly hunger for sales.  

The focus of the position is ultimately to acquire new customers,  we still greatly value teamwork in our company. We co-operate on a daily basis on multiple different levels. 

As the company is growing and evolving, things tend to change rapidly to enable us to serve our customers in the best way possible. As our procedures and methods evolve, we are also looking to get fresh ideas from all team members in the company on how to improve our service.

The Sales team is rapidly growing, and in the future, there will be possibilities to advance to more specialized positions. We offer a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours and the possibility to work partly remotely. Your office is located in Central Gothenburg on Avenyn, with very good bus and tram connections.

Role Focus

  • New customer acquisition
  • Maintain proactive communication including scheduled phone calls & in-person meetings so as to solicit feedback and ensure that customers needs are met
  • Maximize sales by keeping customers informed of our products and services and look for opportunities to upsell
  • Develop new sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound efforts, including identification of target companies, outreach, proposal generation and closing the deals


Your skills and background

  • Positive attitude and clarity in both customer-facing and internal communication
  • Fluent in Swedish and English. Knowledge of Finnish, Dutch or German is a plus, but not mandatory
  • Great communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload independently
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm in taking on new responsibilities in order to maximize impact and meet the rapidly changing needs of our company and our customers
  • At least 3 years of sales experience
  • All e-commerce and logistics-related experience is a plus, but not mandatory
